Reg Holley Mehus, 65, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the Cedar Valley Hospice House, Waterloo.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Crossroads Community Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Mike Collins officiating. A time of fellowship will immediately follow the memorial service at the church. Private inurnment: Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
Survivors include his wife Leila of Waterloo; Children, Michelle Anderson (John) of Nevada, IA, Melissa Mehus of Waterloo; Step-children, Todd Millermon of Waterloo,
Alan Millermon (Wendy) of Silverdale, WA, Jodi Canfield (Les) of Waterloo and Tonya Heidemann of Waterloo. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Reg was preceded in death by his parents.
Reg Holley Mehus was born October 22, 1944 in Boone, IA the son of Arthur and Evelyn (Holley) Mehus. He worked at the John Deere Tractor Works in Waterloo for nearly 30 years.
On April 23, 1989 he married Leila McManus at Waterloo, IA. Reg enjoyed fishing, woodworking and feeding the birds. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
