Myron Duane Perkins

Myron Perkins, 77, of Knoxville, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2010 after a sudden illness. Myron Duane Perkins was born on May 9, 1933 in Indianola to Wilbur and Edna Mae Perkins. He graduated from Indianola High School and attended Simpson College and CCCC in Des Moines. Myron is a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the US Navy. On July 16, 1960 he married LouAnn Schultz in Knoxville, IA. He was in agricultural sales for over 30 years and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Knoxville. Myron is survived by his wife LouAnn, three sons; Michael of Zionville, IN, Brian of Knoxville, Bruce of Lebanon, IN, and a daughter, Rebecca Lundeen of Knoxville, three sisters; Miriam Cleveland, Martha Kragness, Carol Arrasmith, and a brother Larry Perkins. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Edna Mae. Myron enjoyed hunting and fishing and cherished his time with family and especially his grandchildren. Please No flowers, all memorials will go to Camp-Ia-Dis-Eca, Hospice of Central Iowa, and to Trinity Lutheran Church. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday September, 25th at 10:30 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Knoxville, Iowa.
