Doris Fuhr
Doris Margaret Fuhr, 88, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at the Washington Care Center in Washington, Iowa.
Per her wishes, the body has been cremated and no services are planned. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
Doris worked as a secretary for the Mid Prairie School District for many years. During this time, she won the Woman of the Year award twice. Doris also enjoyed gardening in her free time.
She is survived by her loving husband Kenneth Fuhr of Cedar Rapids and her son, Rick also of Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Cora Hofer.
