Billie Jane Cline
WINFIELD, Iowa - B. Jane Cline, 80, of Winfield (formerly of Muscatine), passed away Saturday, September 04, 2010 at Sunrise Terrace Care Center, Winfield surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Cline was born on March 8, 1930 in Louisa County, the daughter of Laird and Nita Kemp Parsons. She married Russel E. Cline on February 19, 1951 in Wapello, IA.
She was a 1947 graduate of Wapello High School. She worked at the Corner Café and Canning Factory in Columbus Jct before becoming a fulltime homemaker.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Russel Cline of Winfield; three daughters, Annie and husband Mike Blanchard of Muscatine, Sue Sandoval of Centralia, IL and Kathy Wilkerson of Wapello. 4 grandsons; Steve and Erynn Blanchard of Poteau, OK, Scott and Suzette Blanchard of North Liberty, Cory and Michele Stephenson of New Braunfels, TX , Jason and Missi Sandoval of Davenport; 2 granddaughters; Sara and Tom Riggs of Blue Grass and Lisa Wilkerson of Wapello; 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister Betty Ann and brother Burton.
A memorial and celebration of life will be Sunday, September 12, 2010, 2pm at the Senior Center in Columbus Jct. Interment will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
