Wade William Abraham

Wade William Abraham, age 61, of Northwood, Iowa, died Thursday, May 13, 2010 at the Albert Lea Hospital in Minnesota. A memorial service will be held at his home in Northwood, IA at a later date pending the arrival of out of town friends and family members. Memorials may be sent to 4909 Dogwood Avenue, Northwood, IA 50459. Wade was born August 1, 1948 in Mankato, Mn to Wayne L. and Mildred (Marsh) Abraham. He drove truck most his life and especially enjoyed when his son Wade Jr. accompanied him. Wade was united in marriage to Sandra Ponto on November 1966 in Janesville, MN. Wade was active in hunting, fishing, trapping, camping, and anything that had to do with the outdoors. He enjoyed the outdoors with his brother in law, Mark McKinnely, father-in-law Archie McKinnely, and his three children and grandchildren. He enjoyed giving his dogs, Bud and Munchie, a daily ride and fishing trips to Lake Millac with his brother, Wendall ''Doc'' Abraham. Wade is survived by his wife, Sandra of Fairmont; three children, Linda Sue (Russell) Osmundsen of Truman; Wade Jr. (Kathy) Abraham of Forest City; and Toni Lee and fiancé, Leighton Anderson of Fairmont; three brothers, Wendall (Missy) Abraham of Garrison; Wayne (Lori) Abraham and Wilbert (Jennette) Abraham both of Janesville; grandsons, Casey Abraham of Forest City; Johnathon Ages of Craig, CO and granddaughter that was adopted out as a toddler, Anistasia Marie Moore. Also surviving are several other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Wade is preceded in death by his parents, an infant grandson, Eathan and best friend, Bambi.
