Marie Mulford
Pearl Marie Mulford, 85, of Hampton, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Sheffield Care Center in Sheffield. Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 11 AM at Church of Christ in Hampton with Reverend Rocky Woolery officiating. A luncheon will follow the service. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
Marie Mulford was born on February 22, 1925 to Karl and Laura Newton Jensen in Hampton, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Jacob Mulford on June 26, 1942 at the Bethany Missouri Courthouse. He died in 2004. Marie worked as a bookkeeper for 48 years for the family business called M & J Construction. She really loved taking care of dogs. Marie was a member of the Church of Christ in Hampton and the Elks Lodge, and Moose Lodge.
Marie is survived by one daughter, Pamela Kay Brown of Hampton; four sons, Raymond Michael (Terri) of Clear Lake; Jacob Leslie (Claire) of Flint, TX; Nicholas Karl (Ranae) of Hampton; and Bradley Gene (Kim) of Sheffield; one sister, Arlene (L.E.) Brown of Benson, Arizona; 14 grandchildren; and 31 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; an infant son, Gary Lee; brother, Russell Jensen; granddaughter, Tamera Brown; great granddaughter, Mikyla Mulford.
