Garfield Miller, M.D.
My sincere condolences to Dr. Miller's family. Dr. Miller provided tremendous service and sacrafice to his patients for many years. As a medical educator, I often rely on Dr. Miller's example as the "gold standard" for family physician. Dr. Miller touched many lives. God Bless.
I worked with Dr. Miller in 1977 and worked with him in ob until he quit delivering babies. He taught me a few things as a new nurse. I remember him going fishing and he would check in before and after( no cell phones then). We talked about Days of Our Lives as he enjoyed that over the noon hour. He will be missed in Calmar. My sympathy to the family. Denise Duffy

Gary, Cathy so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I wish I could find the words that would ease the pain you feel but i'm afraid that there is nothing i can say that would help. I do know that over time the sadness you feel now will drift away and nothing but the good memories of your life with "Doc" will prevail. former classmate
My deepest sympathy to all of you! The best 16 years of my working life were the years spent working for Doc. I always tell everyone if he could magically be young again and come out of retirement I would quit my job on a dime and go back to work for him. He was such a joy to work for and I respected him like a father. I am sure he is gving fishing lessons to everyone in heaven! He is going to be missed in more ways than one. I plan on attending the memorial on Friday and will see all of you then. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Take Care, Deb
Deepest sympathy to your family Gary Sincerely, Jason Fowler and Family
