Frances Elliott
Frances Elliott, 87, of Nashua, IA passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City, IA.
Frances was born on April 15, 1923 to Henry and Susan (Heath) Funke in Lawrence County, IL. On April 19, 1959 Frances was united in marriage to Wendell Elliott. She was an avid doll maker and seamstress and greatly enjoyed spending time with her family. Frances was an active and proud participant in the Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Frances is survived by her children, John (Joyce) Rodrick of Bicknell, IN, Paul (Sandra) Rodrick of Burleson, TX, Beverly Murray of Fort Worth, TX, James (Beth) Davis of Lowell, IN, Cheryl (Frank) Buker of Nashua, IA, and Robert (Diane) Davis of Fort Worth, TX; a sister, Mildred Huddleston; a brother, Roy Funke; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Elliott; her parents, Henry and Susan Funke; two brothers, Robert and Bill Funke; a granddaughter Tina Davis; and a grandson Ross Murray.
