Obituary for Jolene C. Jones

Jolene Carol Jones, 55, died Sunday May 2, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids after a lengthy illness. She was born on December 17, 1954 and lived most of her fife in Cedar Rapids. Jolene volunteered in the library at St. Paul''s United Methodist Church, where she was a lifelong member. She is survived by her mother, Marjorie P. Jones of Meth-Wick Manor, a sister, Linda (Clair) Scott of Saddlebrooke, AZ.; nieces, Tracy Spicer, Beth Estrada both of Cedar Rapids and Sheri Dvorak of Bettendorf; very special cousins, Shirlene Heston, Lee Pratt, Patti Mathern and Bill Weeks; precious friends, Bob and Signe Munson, Stacey Friauf and the Marilyn Dorrance family. She was preceded in death by her father, Lester O. Jones, a sister, Janet Sue Jones and a nephew, Jeff Winter. There will be no service. Memorials may be sent to St. Paul''s United Methodist Church, Mercy Hospice or to the charity of the donor''s choice.
