Obituary for Emmett Junior Hibdon

Emmett J. Hibdon, 75, of Winterset, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2010 at the Country Haven Guest Home in Winterset. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, June 11, 2010 at Lorimor Community Center in Lorimor. Cremation Society of Eastern Central Western Iowa is assisting the family. Emmett Junior Hibdon was born on February 9, 1935, to Clarence and Grace Keith Hibdon in Stover, Missouri. Emmett enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, and singing. He is survived by his children, Timmy (Cynthia) Hibdon of Winterset; Nova (Dan) Davidson of Louisville, KY; Brenda Pardekooper of Newton; Emmett �Gene� (Cindy)Hibdon of Des Moines; sister, Ruth (Floyd) Wagley; former wife, Dora Hibdon; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Emmett was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gregory and sister, Lucille and Great grandson Sylas.
