Ronald G. McClelland, 83, of the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown died Wednesday March 31, 2010. A graveside Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday April 2, 2010 at Palo Alto Cemetery in Newton. Surviviors include seven daughters; Mary McClelland of Newton, Tracy Sienknecht of Clutier, Daun Matzdorff of Farmington, MN, Ronee Youngblood of Branson, MO, Ronna DeNato, Ann Haakinson, Nicki Bleakney and a son Roger McClelland of Shady Springs, WV. Ronald is preceeded in death by his parents and two brothers. Ronald Gene McClelland was born December 26, 1926 in New Virginia, IA to Paul Roger and Creola (duncan) McClelland. He served in WWII with the United States Navy. A memorial fund has been established.
