Obituary for Donald Leon Riendeau

Donald L. Riendeau, 75, of Davenport, died Friday, March 26, 2010 at home. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 10 AM with Father Robert Harness officiating. A luncheon at the church will follow the service. Cremation Society of Eastern Central Western Iowa is assisting the family. Donald Leon Riendeau was born on October 28, 1934 to Ralph and Armaline Sourdif Riendeau in International Falls, Minnesota. He was united in marriage to Georgia Rockwood on July 25, 1967 in Peoria, Illinois. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed biking and most of all spending time with family and friends. Donald though he had a wonderful life with his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Georgia; daughter, Theresa Anast of Geneseo, IL; 4 granddaughters, Rhiannon, Sierra, Savanna, and Sydney Anast; 3 brothers, Vern (Prudy) Riendeau of Peoria, IL; Lloyd (Nettie) Riendeau of Davenport; Robert Riendeau of Las Vegas, NV; and many nieces and nephews. Donald was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ray.
