Joseph Allen Manewal
Joseph A. Manewal Jr., 52, of Keokuk, died Sunday, January 24, 2010 at his home with his family at his side. Per Joseph''s wishes his body has been cremated. A visitation will be held at Vigen Funeral Home in Keokuk, IA on Thursday, January 28, 2010 from 6-8 pm. Inurnment will be on Friday, January 29 at 1:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Cemetery, also in Keokuk. Joseph was born November 17, 1957 to Joseph and Dorothy (Hammel) Manewal in Keokuk. He graduated from Keokuk Senior High School. Joseph enjoyed fishing, camping, yard work, and the outdoors. Joe was a maintenance worker for Holiday Terrace Apartments. Survivors include his brother Randy Manewal; sisters Ann (Rich) Lange, Judy (Terry) Jones, Carol (Rick) Burgess, Connie (Robert) Jones, Donna Manewal, Cindy (Rick) Peak, Tammy (Gavino) Manewal, and Dianna (Kalvin) Manewal; plus several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Joe was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Dorothy Manewal, and sister Nancy Jean Manewal. The Manewal family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Mckenny and the Lee County Health Department, and all of the friends and family who helped out with this difficult time.
