Obituary for Arlen A. Frahm

Arlen A. Frahm, 61, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at Sartori Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 1 PM Saturday in the Faith Wesleyan Church. Survivors include his wife Connie, his mother Caroline Frahm of Fairbank, two daughters Tamara Schmidt of Cedar Rapids, and Mary Tyrrell of Readlyn, Iowa, two granddaughters Autumn Tyrrell and Ashley Schmidt, two sisters Sharon (Bill) Moran of Jesup, Deb (John) Yonkovic of Fairbank, three brothers Steve (Candy) Frahm of Conrad, Jeff (Mary) Frahm of Independence, and Rick (Teresa) Frahm of Jesup, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Arthur Frahm. Arlen was born November 14, 1948 in Oelwein Iowa to Arthur and Caroline Warnke Frahm. He married Connie Charter on October 18, 1969 in Evansdale, Iowa. He was a retired truck driver for Benton Concrete in Cedar Falls. He loved going fishing at Ross Lake in Minnesota. He really loved driving the cement truck, talking to People, and spending time with his family. Arrangements by the Cremation Society of Eastern, Central, and Western, Iowa.
