Obituary for Clara A. Jacobsen

Clara Ann Jacobsen, 88, of Littleton, IA, passed away on Wednesday April 14, 2010 at her home. Per Clara’s wishes, her body was cremated. A memorial mass service will be held at a later date. Survivors include her children, Don (Marcia) Jacobsen of Littleton, Carol (Dale) Nation of Jesup, and Diann (Glen) Brumbelow of Atlanta, GA; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 brother; and 2 sisters. Clara was preceded in death by her husband Cecil, parents William and Lidwina Bouska, 1 brother, and 2 sisters. Clara was born February 28, 1922 to William and Lidwina (Kemp) Bouska in McGrath, MN. She was united in marriage to Cecil John Jacobsen on October 28, 1943 in Waucoma, IA. Cecil passed way on March 29, 2007. Clara was a homemaker and she enjoyed helping Cecil with is painting of DX stations. She was a member of the St. Athanasius Catholic Church in Jesup.
