I was very sad to hear of the passing of Grandpa Duane. I will always remember the summer we visited you in Kansas, which Grandpa and I fished the pond with his new flying lures. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Ty and Taylor Kvasager

Mary Ann, My prayers are with you, Mom also sends her prayers. I have so many memories with Duane that make me smile every time I think of him, from Beach Nut chew to Snowmobile, advise on farming and cutting wheat. That always made my day when you guys showed up at the beginning of harvest to see how the crop was doing and off you went again. Oh I almost forgot the one about pulling his toe off.

I am very sorry to hear that Uncle Duane passed. I have fond memories of the house by ashrock cemetary. I remember all the great times I had out there. He always was so kind to me and always had a great sense of humor. I remember the great croquet course he built and all the fun things to do in the back yard. I was just telling my husband all about Duane and all the good memories I had. He will be truly missed by all who knew him!! Take care!!

Mary Ann, I came to work today feeling such a strange sense about you. I have been so busy and I had just read the sunday paper and looked to see if you had an open house. I said to myself that I will call you tonight. I grabbed the Gazette on the way into our lunchroom and read Duane's obituary. I was so surprised to see his picture when I was thinking about you so much today. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I have finally moved and the people dumped on the old house, so now I am trying to sell it again. Take care and call me soon. My number is still the same. With deepest sympathy, Shari
