Frank E. Weber, 83, of Corwith, IA passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at his home. A memorial mass will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at St. Joseph''s Catholic Church in Wesley, IA. Family and friends may greet the family one hour before the church service. Survivors include his wife Pauline; children Cynthia (Roger) McBride of Rudd, IA, Jean (Rick) Kendall of McCook, NE, Connie (Gary) Noah of Des Moines, IA, David (Judy) Weber of Corwith, IA, and Linda (Terry) McLaughlin of Des Moines, IA; thirteen grandchildren Julie, Jennifer, Nicole, Matthew, Michael, Jana, Bryan, Emily, Sarah, Zachary, Elise, Garrett, and Connor; thirteen great grandchildren; and a sister Evelyn (Maynard) Woodbury of Whispering Pines, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Pearl Weber, and an infant daughter Julie Kay Weber. Frank was born April 1, 1926 to Henry and Pearl (Walters) Weber in Algona, IA. He graduated from Corwith High School. He married Pauline Neuroth on November 14, 1944 in Ocean Side, CA. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps participating in two invasions during WWII, and served in the occupation of China following the war. He was a life-long farmer and also worked as a Winnebago delivery driver. Frank was a member of the St. Mary''s Catholic Church in Corwith, IA for 55 years until its closing in 2002; he then became a member of the St. Joseph''s Catholic Church in Wesley, IA. He was a 63 year member of the American Legion. He enjoyed baseball, watching western movies, and spending time with his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all.
