James P. Wilson, 78, of Eagle Grove, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Trinity Regional Health Center in Fort Dodge. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 1 p.m. with visitation from 12:30 to 1 pm at the United Methodist Church in Eagle Grove, Iowa. Survivors include his 4 children, Sandra (Terry) Willard of Eagle Grove; Douglas (Sheila) Wilson of Dakota City; Michael (Amy) Wilson of Kensett; and Denise Wyatt of Salem, MA; 9 grandchildren, Nick Wilson, Cory Wilson, Kyle Wilson, Ryan Wilson, Paul Martin, Leigh Eivins, Julie Hill, Amanda Wilson, and Joshua Wilson; 10 great grandchildren, Lucas, Blair, Kylie, Austin, Paige, Tyson, Jaxon, Makenna, Mason, Bree; and significant other, Barb Lundgren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; parents; 3 daughters, Teresa, Debra, and Julie and 1 brother, Virgil. James Paul Wilson was born on March 14, 1931 in Humboldt, Iowa to Ralph and Nina Drushella Wilson. James married Dorothy Frakes on February 17, 1950 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She passed away in 2004. He was founder and co-owner of Crest Pak in Humboldt, Iowa. James enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing.
