Janie Ann Coberly

Janie Ann Nesseler was born Nov. 14, 1946 in Rock Island, Ill, the daughter of George M. and Dorothy F. (McBride) Nesseler. She graduated from Rock Island High School in 1964, a member of the National Honor Society. She received her Associate degree in Accounting (Phi Theta Kappa) from Green River Community College in Auburn, Washington in June 1978 and her BS in Administration (Magna Cum Laude) from City University in Bellevue, Washington in June 1982. She has operated her own firm, "The Family Accountant" for nearly 30 years providing accounting and tax services for her clients which are located all over the U.S. She married Glen "Carter" Coberly on Nov. 26, 1965 in Rock Island, Illinois and had two sons, Dr. Guy C. Coberly (wife, Trisha, and grandsons, Caden and Trevan of Loveland, Colorado) and Jason R. Coberly (wife, Christeen and grandson Travis of Evans, Colorado). She spent most of her life in Denver and Seattle. She moved to Tipton, Iowa in August 2006. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband, sons, brother, James Nesseler of Kettering, Ohio and sister, Jeannine Vogel of Windsor, Colorado. She was an avid genealogist and prepared family trees for friends and family as a hobby. She also wrote and loved poetry. She attended Tipton Calvary Four Square church since moving to Tipton. Her long seven year battle with cancer ended on June 26, 2009 and she has gone to be with her Lord. Per her wishes, the body was cremated. No services are planned at this time.
