Donna Felton
Donna Felton, 73, of Cedar Rapids, passed away at home surrounded by her family on July 14, 2009. A memorial service to honor her life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Cremation Society of Eastern – Central – Western Iowa. Survivors include her children Rod (Cindy) Felton of Victor, Kelly (Martin) Ross of Cedar Rapids, Scotty (Kathleen) Felton of Fairfax; grandchildren Kiley Odegard of Marion, Ashley (Tony) Cassady of Mt. Vernon, Derek Felton of Victor; great-grandchildren Caleb and Logan, Brecken and Wyatt; step grandchildren Nicholas, Phillip, Mikayla, Kyle and Adam; sisters Linda Ely of Montezuma and Susan (Lonny) White of Victor; and her beloved cat Cassie. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Terry, and a nephew Shannon Ely. Donna was born on October 31, 1935 in Deep River the daughter of Lester and Letha Ranfeld. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed flowers. She also loved to joke and laugh with family and friends, as well as discuss politics. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her honor are made to Hospice of Mercy.
