Walter F. Keenan
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss. You were blessed to have your Dad with you all these years. He has gone to meet so many of the family and will be there for you to greet again one day. Take care and keep the memories close. Betsy (Troendle) Shew
We were sad to hear the news about Walt. I have many good memories of him. It is unbeliveable that he put up with us when we were young treating us with kindness and never a harsh word (who knows what he was thinking). Walt was a great person and although I have not seen him for a long time, it does not seem that long ago.
To the Keenan Family: what an excellent obituary and so very true. My sympathies to the entire family. I know there are many, many fond and wonderful memories of Walt by his family, extended family and all of his friends.
We are saddened at the loss of Walt. You have our deepest sympathy in your time of sorrow.

I have a lifetime full of memories of Walt & Gagie ( Ma & Pa Keenan)-and the Keenan and Smerud family!-All of them good, and all of them cherished.Walt & Gagie always made me feel like family. Love you all, and will miss Walt greatly! He was a very special man! I am keeping you all in love and prayers;and always in my heart. Evie
I was sorry to hear about Walt's passing. Please accept my most profound condolences.
My heart reaches out to all of you with sympathy, with caring and with love. My dad, Tom Keenan spoke so highly of Walt and his entire family. The "Keenan Girls" and Walt held a very special place in Tom's heart. May your memories and stories of the wonderful man Walt was help you in this difficult time. With Love, Jamie

I work for and with Walt for 20 years.Best guy i ever worked for. our condolences to his family. your in our thoughts and prayers..
Walt Keenan was truly a man for all seasons and all peoples. We never knew of him to utter a harsh word, in malice, towards anyone. In business, he was always fair in his dealings with customers and treated all with respect. His friends were of all ages, of both sexes, and from all walks of life. We feel privileged to have known him and to have called him "friend." Our world is a lesser place with his passing - but a better place for his having been here. Our love and prayers to Gagie and all his children. Brent & Shirley Darling
Dear Margaretta & Family of Walt Keenan, I first met Walt & Margretta when they were farming on the English Bench. Ralph Lyons and I drove there for some reason. In the years after I was married and farming I bought several used cars and our first new car, a staionwagon, from him. It had a tape player in it, and Walt gave us a tape. The music was beautiful and everytime we played it we talked about Walt! He never had a cross word about anyone and was totally honest. He was loved and cared for to the end. God Bless you all, Dan & Sarah Welsh
