Larry Earl Heller

Deb, my sincerest condolences for the loss of your soul-mate. I remember when you and Larry met, lived across the road from me in Troy Mills. Larry was such a hoot; loved riding his motorcycle or three-wheeler. You told me you met the man of your dreams: "the big guy with the red hair". It's been many years ago but I thought of you and Larry over the years and knew that you were happy. He will always be in your heart with your memories.

Deb- our orbits have crossed less and less over the years, and Larry and myself were so saddened in hearing about Larry's death-- it doesn't seem so long ago we were under 30 and gonna live forever--Take care, Terri and Oilfingers Bartlett

With a sad heart we bid Larry good bye, always remember this is what he wanted. He no longer could stand the pain and all the inconviencies he had to suffer. He is looking down on us now and wishing his family peace and happiness, especially his Mother Wilma for all the things she has done for him. I will always cherish the hand carved bird he gave to me last year. May peace be with you all

I lived next door to Larry when we were kids, on Oakland Rd by Daniels Park. Ted was alive then; he and I were in the same grade. Larry had a motorcycle and sometimes when one of us wasn't getting along at home, we'd go for a ride on the motorcycle. I'm sorry for your loss.

Deb, I have thought of you and Larry often since moving to Utah but job, family, errands, and kid-taxi driving have made it easy for me to be lazy and not pick up the phone. A poor excuse, but I'm glad Carol could make it to the funeral - wish I could be there too. Since I can't attend, I'm taking this opportunity to pass on my sincerest condolences to you and Larry's family, and share a few close memories. I was grateful to see you and Larry at my Dad's funeral a few years back. I know Larry's health wasn't the greatest and you didn't know anyone there except for Carol and me, but you guys took the time to attend and spend some time with us after the service. You two were part of a very small group of close friends that bothered to make the 60-mile trip, and I won't ever forget that. I'd have to say my fondest memories with Larry was out at Willard's pond. He would bring all the fishing gear, and I would bring Aaron and Rowdy. Larry taught Aaron to fish (I mean REALLY fish). He was far more patient than I, which is amazing since we all know that patience was one of Larry's greatest virtues! But seriously, Aaron was about 6 when he started the "Heller School of Tackle", with Larry teaching him how to cast properly and how to get the fish off the hook. I remember Aaron's excitement when he pulled out his first fish. And most important, Aaron still remembers Larry, the trips, and the lessons. I could go on, but with only 1000 characters I'll close by saying that 62 years is too young to leave loved ones behind. My Dad struggled with MS and cancer before passing on at age 54; I watched his rapid decline as my family tried to care for him. So I take comfort in the fact that Larry is now on the other side, undoubtedly with a good spirit AND good health. He'll be waiting for us along with other friends and family when we finish "trudging the road". All our best, Kirk and Carol Huston family: Aaron (16), Valerie (14), Samantha (11), and Charlie the Beagle (18 mos.)

Larry and I hung out and went swimming together when we were in grade 9 and 10. He was a good kid and we enjoyed talking to the cute girls we happened to meet. He lived on the east side and I lived at 600 G ave NW...I remember his mom was quite tall and his parents were always nice to me. I just happened to think of him and did a search. Low and behold I discovered that he passed away. Wow! I am 76 now living in the Philippines...go figure?...I am enjoy my life helping kds have a better future. Hey Larry...save a place for me in heaven...I need your support....Larry always had a good sense of humor.Take care Larry.....see you soon.
