Dear Family of Lavonne, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your loving mother. I have so many happy memories when my husband, Larry, now deceased, & I square danced, camped or just had fun visiting with your mom & dad. We even looked them up while in Mission, TX a few years ago and spent the Entire afternoon visiting and then met them the next day to sq. dance in a hall there. I have pictures of our happy time together. She was a wonderful person and now she & John are together again. Peace be with you. Thank you Linda, for writing to me and keeping me up to date on your mom during the last two years. I shared your letters with many former sq. dancers in the Ames area. I will be thinking of you .
