Obituary for Dorothy A. Smith

Dorothy A. Smith, 73, of Iowa City, died Friday, December 11, 2009 at the Lantern Park Nursing & Rehab Center, Coralville, IA. Private family services will be held at a later date in Iowa City. The Cremation Society of Eastern Iowa is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her son, Jon Smith and his wife Tia of Gig Harbor, WA; Grandson, Jason Smith and granddaughter, Nichole Smith, both of Iowa City. Also surviving is a great grandson, Evan Jon Eicher. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jerome Smith, son, Jim and daughter, Debbie.
