Birdene M. Struebing, 86, of Hopkinton, passed away Wednesday, December 30th, 2009 at the Jones Regional Medical Center in Anamosa. Private family burial services will be held at a later date in Pickrell, Nebraska. Cremation Society of Eastern Central Western Iowa are assisting Birdene''s family. Birdene Mae Struebing was born October 21st, 1923 to Elmer and Mildred (Montgomery) Rudder in Roca, Nebraska. She was united in marriage with Dale Eugene Struebing on October 21st, 1955 in Lincoln, Nebraska. They attended St. John''s Luthern Church in Hopkinton. Birdene is survived by her husband, Dale; sons, Jimmy Struebing of Payson Arizona; Neil (Roxie) Struebing of Beaumont, Texas and a grandson, Cary Struebing of Marshalltown, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Evelyn O''Brien.
