Orvelda Marie Snyder

It was so odd to walk into your home today and not here you say "Hey Kiddo". To not sit next to you, with you in "your spot" and me in "my spot" and talk about what ever was on our minds. You instilled so many things into my life; to always be respectful, to always help someone in need even if it puts you out & that sometimes life requires you to put your nose to the grind and work for it. But most of all you taught me that nothing beats structure. I love you for everything Gram, I was never prouder then when I could make you smile. -Michael Jason

Grandma, you are the heart and soul of our family and have always enstilled in us the ways of the world although sometimes harsh but always gentle, you always kept us aware of the things that were to come. I am releived now that you can rest without pain and no longer have to suffer. I am going to truly miss you and coming home to see you whether it be at Perkins or at the house. You are my hero and will always be in my heart and home. I will look to the sky everyday and send you my love and I know you will be watching over all of us as we continue grow. Know that I love you with all of my heart and will miss you terribly. Save a spot for me. Until then I love you and I will see you soon. Forever your granddaughter. Love you always

The Broken Chain We did not know that morning that God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you; you did not go alone, For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. -Author Unknown

Well Ma,it's happened. You have passed on to the pain free world that we all pray to find one day. I know Leon and other loved ones were there to welcome you home. We did as you wished, and did not mourn for you,but celebrated your life. We all came to say our good-byes, then went to the house for eats and drinks. Later on we sat around the table(yes in the garage) and told our own favorite story of you in our life. We then toasted you, and yes some of us may have toasted you to much. You'd be proud of pops, he's a trooper.Thank you for bring him into our lives. Live on ma,(bet that still eats you). I love you with all my heart- but then you know that. You will always live in my heart and tell Leon I said Hey. I love you

Gramma I am really sorry that we did not get to come and visit one more time. I know you you will be watching over all of us, and to tell you the truth I am glad we have got someone like you to watch over us. You will be truely missed. Do not worry about Matt I will keep him in line for you. He will have me to lean on when ever he needs me; until we see you again. Lots of Love, Samantha

Well Grandma the time has come for us to part ways for a while. I was sad to see it come but I now know it's for the best. I already miss hearing your voice and having you pick on me for everything I do. I will love you always and forever and you will hold a special place in my heart. You were one of my best friends and I will cherish the memories I have of you. Love you always Kendra

Well now who is going to tell me to go to the van and make me mind? I"m truely going to miss you but I know your in a much better place now. Don't know if they have a Perkins though. You were the strongest person I know. You had your demands on how things should be in life and that helped make all of us become the people we are today. So even though it hurts to say this, go now and take that walk you've wanted to take, with no pain just joy. Make sure to save us all at spot at that Perkin's if you find one. I will alway remember you, with the most special spot that you hold in my heart. Forever your Grandson Matt
