Stephen Johnson

Stephen Edward Johnson, 60, of Fort Dodge, died Monday, Sept. 1, 2008, at Trinity Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness. Internment will be at Blossom Hill Cemetery, Badger, on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 11 a.m. There will be a gathering of family and friends following the gravesite ceremony at his home from noon to 2 p.m. The Cremation Society of Central Iowa assisted the family. Survivors include his daughter, Michelle Johnson of Springfield, Mo.; sisters: Arliss Mohr of Fort Dodge, Dorothy Larson and Betty Enburg, both of Badger. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Agnes (Larson) Johnson and his brother Darwin Johnson. Stephen E. Johnson was born Sept 24, 1947 in Fort Dodge. He entered the U.S. Army and served a tour of duty in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969. He achieved the rank of Sergeant and was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge and three Bronze Stars.
