William Wayne Walls Jr., 86, of Coralville and formally of Des Moines died Friday May 23, 2008, at the Lantern Park Nursing & Rehab Center in Coralville, IA. William Wayne Walls Jr., 86, of Coralville and formally of Des Moines died Friday May 23, 2008, at the Lantern Park Nursing & Rehab Center in Coralville, IA. There will be no service. William is survived by a daughter Sally (Michael) Rulli of Cedar Rapids, four grandchildren, Shari (Daniel) Limbert, Christian (Marife) Rulli, Pasquale (Heather) Rulli, and Michael (Tracy) W. Rulli. Seven greatgrandchildren and two great-great grandchildren also survive him. William is preceded by his wife Betty, his parents, and one sister, Shirley. William was born October 16, 1921 in Des Moines, IA to William and Birdie (Ballard) Walls. He enjoyed music and playing the guitar. The family wishes to express a special thanks to the caregivers and staff of Lantern Park Nursing and Rehab Center in Coralville and Iowa City Hospice.
