David Jon Brenneman
David J. Brenneman, Sr., 68, of West Liberty, IA formerly of Iowa City died Monday, May 5, 2008. A memorial social will be held at the Nichols City Hall, 429 Ijem Ave, Nichols, Iowa, from 4 -7 pm on Thursday, May 8, 2008. David is survived by brothers, Gerald and Wayne. Children, Cheryl (Russ) Howes, Barbara (Scott) Wells and David (Mary) Brenneman, Jr.; Grandchildren Gwen Bell, Kendall, Korby & Kurtis Brenneman, Michael Hoffman, Jason & Jeff Wells, Devon Griffin; Great Grandchildren Lila Bell and Brooklyn Wells. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brothers Glen and Dale. David was born July 25, 1939 son of Woodrow and Helen Brenneman. He married Lottie May Crouch in 1957. He served in the Armed Forces of the United States Army from 1959-1965. He was employed by the Iowa City Fire Department, Iowa Illinois Electric and then opened his own photography business known as Brenneman Photo.
