Henry Gerald Wedemeier
Marilyn, The world has lost another great one and heaven has been enriched once again with a special "real" Hawkeye. How privileged we all were to grow up in Hawkeye with wonderful role models around. My heart goes out to you. I have such good memories of watching softball played by the Wedemeier brothers! As I grew, I came to understand that Henry was not just a great softball player, but a great person, too. He was a good friend of the family and a special pal to Dad. My sympathy to you, your family and your mother. Nancy Buenzow Hermanson
Marilyn; You are in my prayers I know what you are going through. I was fond of Henry. He was on Church Council when I was hired for secretary and we had lots of good talks. He came to see me every once in awhile to check up on me. Henry will be missed by lots of people. My prayers and thoughts will be with you. As always. Carol Rueber
Kerry, I was sorry to see that your Dad died. I was catching up on all the area news when I was home for Easter. I am happy that your parents were able to be in the Fun Days parade last summer. I am very sorry for your loss...take care and God Bless your family at this difficult time. Sincerely, Lisa Pleggenkuhle
What a great family the Wedemeiers are! Just want you all to know that I wish for you peaceful days and restful nights in the days ahead. Will keep you close in my prayers. In Sympathy, Susan Schrage-Schmit
So sorry to hear about Henry's death. My best memories of "Hank" were of the great fun we used to have on the Hawekeye softball team. He was a terrific player. Those were wonderful days. I will remember him always. David Dietel
