Judith Rae Stuhrenberg, 64, of Humboldt died Sunday July 20, 2008 at her home. Per her wishes, she has been cremated. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 25, 2008 at 10:30 am at Our Savior''s Lutheran Church in Humboldt with the Rev. Paul Bengtson officiating. The Cremation Society of Eastern Iowa is assisting with arrangements. Judith is survived by her husband, Alvin; 2 daughters, Joan Stuhrenberg of Humboldt and Nancy Babcock of Eagle Grove; 1 son, Robert (Valerie) Stuhrenberg of Pocahontas; 3 grandchildren, Jordan Babcock, Alexandra Stuhrenberg and Trevor Stuhrenberg; and 1 sister, Sue (Wayne) Zabel of Fort Dodge. Judith was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Debbie; and 1 sister, Cynthia McDermott. Judith Rae Stuhrenberg was born on November 25, 1943 to Clifford and Mary Mason Silbaugh in Churdan, IA. She married Alvin Stuhrenberg on November 27, 1965 in Clare, Iowa. Judith enjoyed crocheting, visiting her friends at the Humboldt Homes and playing cards. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
