Obituary for Steven Eugene Mapes

Steven Eugene Mapes, 51, of Huxley, IA passed away Friday, February 22, 2008 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Per his wishes, Steven was cremated. No services are planned. The Cremation Society of Central Iowa is assisting the family. He is survived by his daughters, Stefany Nalepa of Portland, NY and Casey Mapes of Des Moines; Sisters, Judy McMullen of Shenandoah, VA and Pam Boryca of Huxley, IA; Mother, Viola Mapes of Slater, IA. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Ethan, Ella Rose and Jefferson. Steven was preceded in death by his father, Russell and son, Ryder Mapes.
