Obituary for Ileene M. Graves

Ileene M Graves, 80 of Riverdale, IA died Saturday, February 9, 2008 at Genesis West Medical Center in Davenport, IA following a short illness. Per her wishes, Ileene was cremated. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Feb 14, at 6 P.M. at the Riverdale Community Center. Survivors include her daughter Bonita (Jeffrey) Grindle of Riverdale, IA; two granddaughters, Violet Grindle of Bettendorf, IA and Rose (Stefon) Dipple of Riverdale, IA; and one great grandchild. Ileene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alfred, and a grandson Lance Grindle. Ileene Mardell Graves was born May 21, 1927, in Davenport, IA to Ito and Violet Roseberg Crandell. She grew up, attended school, and spent most of her life in the Davenport area. On July 12, 1946 Ileene married Alfred Graves in Davenport, IA. She spent her life as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Ileene was a member of the order of the Eastern Star and the order of the Amaranth.
