David Richard Goerdt
Dave was the first person to introduce me to the great outdoors.Ill never forget the times we spent in Knapps woods drinking water flowing from a rock, mushroom hunting, squirrel hunting, and hiking! You never truly appreciate someone untill there gone!He will be missed!
David has always had a special place in my heart. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, family, and friends.I loved him and will miss him.
Thank you to everyone for your prayers and condolences. It is truly appreciated. Funeral Services will be held for Dave Saturday, June 7th, 10:30 A.M. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Epworth with a dinner following the Mass. Thank you again and God Bless.
My caring compassionate gentle brother David has died. I cannot tell you how much Phyllis and I will miss him and pray that he will find eternal happines. He has made a positive impact on his family and on all of his friends. I cannot begin to express my sorrow at his loss.
My Deepest Sympathy to Daves Family.....May you find Peace and Comfort in Your Memories Sincerely, Larry
Nancy and Chris, I was so shocked and saddened to hear of David's death. I am so sorry and have you in my thoughts and prayers. The last time I saw him was at Diane's funeral and I had a nice visit with him then. I'm so sorry for your loss and my father's loss. Take care. Lisa, Sam, and Max Brown
"Uncle Dave", I'll never forget his reaction to ne calling him that after he married Aunt Nancy, and then each and every time since! His gruff, growling scowl turned to a reluctant grin as I'd continue to tease him. He always took my shenanigans with a grain of salt, and sometimes offered to join in! You left a hole in my heart Uncle Dave. xxxooo
To all that have helped us through this tough time. I appreciate all the help that was given to us to make it easier. We will not forget it. Thank You very much. His loving son Christopher David Goerdt

Dariss, So sorry to hear about your brothers death. Our prays and thoughts are with you and your family. Ron and Carol Bream
I remember decorating your car Nancy when the two of you were married in Asbury. It was fun to visit when you lived in Epworth on the farm. He taught (or teased) me about chicks/chickens. I'll explain another day! So sorry for your loss.
I was shocked to hear of Daves passing. Although we only lived less than 10 miles apart, I would rarely see Dave or Nancy. Dave was a gentle softspoken person who never spoke an ill word about anyone as long as I've known him. We'll miss him.
I knew Dave as a kind and gentle person. I know he will be missed. Always remember the love that surrounds you. You are not alone during this difficult time. Much love.
Please accept our sincere sympathy. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Karla
