Obituary for Edna M. Lange

Edna Mae Lange, 82, of Algona, died Friday, August 15, 2008 at the Kossuth Regional Health Center, Algona, following a brief illness. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, August 22, 2008 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Algona with the Rev. Turner officiating. Inurnment will be in Eastlawn Cemetery, Algona, Iowa. The Cremation Society of Eastern-Central-Western Iowa is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her children, Carl Danielsen of Florence, OR, Larry (Sharon) Danielsen of Fort Wayne, IN, Dan (Sandy) Danielsen of Algona, Jan Croker of Bode, IA, Diane (Mike) Goldberg of Los Angeles, CA, David Danielsen of Los Angeles, CA and Bruce Danielsen of Mason City, IA; Brother, Jim Fitch of Renwick, IA; Sister, Esther Miller of Cedar Rapids, IA. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, spouses, son in infancy, 3 brothers and a sister. Edna Mae Fitch was born February 17, 1926 in Burt, IA, the daughter of Edward & Margaret (Hix) Fitch. She married Arnold Danielsen on _Dec.6, 1941 and he died in June 1966. She then married Curtis Lange on Nov.30, 1979 and he died on Feb.1, 2007. Edna was a homemaker for many years, worked at Broughm Manufacturing and was a cook at the Kossuth County Home in her later years.
