Donald R. Paeper

Mr. Paeper was one of the kindest people I have ever met. He was friendly, warm and a very dedicated husband. Although I only met him a few times at family gatherings, I felt like he was a part of my family. I remember him best for a time we shared with him during a visit in Dubuque for Ben’s baptism. He had a love that radiated from him and touched you with laughter and sincerity. He had a sense of honor and strength when he shared his military memories, which Alan enjoyed. May you all feel God’s comfort during this time of sorrow, yet know the sense of celebration, assured he is home with the Lord he loved.
