Obituary for Robert Dale Kolthoff

Robert Dale Kolthoff, 74, Webster City, IA passed away on September 24, 2007 at his home. Per his wishes, Robert was cremated. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 28, 2007 at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion, Iowa. There is a luncheon following the service at Church of Christ in Webster City, Iowa. The Cremation Society of Eastern-Central-Western Iowa is assisting with arrangements. Robert is survived by his three daughters, Karen Throntveit, Debra Kolthoff, and Vickie Bradley all of Webster City, IA; two sons, Larry Kolthoff of Webster City and Roger Kolthoff of Sandstone, MN; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Elizabeth Wallace of Aldon, Iowa. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Stella; son, Rick Brannick; six brothers, Raymond, Lawrence, John, Glenn, Kenneth, and Jerry Kolthoff. Robert was born May 6, 1933 in Ackley, Iowa, the son of Eltjo and Mata (Kruse) Kolthoff. He worked in maintenance at Hamilton Hospital in Webster City, Iowa. He married Stella Anderson on October 8, 1956 in Clarion, Iowa. Stella preceded Robert in death in 1993.
