Agnes Nora Handke, 85, of Guttenberg, IA died Saturday, September 1, 2007 at the Guttenberg Hospital following a brief illness. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 15, 2007 at the Methodist Church, Guttenberg, IA. Pastor Neil Hofer will officiate. The Cremation Society of Eastern-Central-Western Iowa is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jean Kay & Jeff Strnad of Prairie du Chein, WI; Grandsons, Tim Hagen of Caldwell, ID, Lance (Petra) Hagen of Solders Grove, WI, Tom (Tracy) Hagen of Goshen, IN, Jeff (Michelle) Hagen of Elkhart, IN, James Hagen of Boise, ID, Roberta Hurlbert of San Diego, CA; Great grandchildren, Brian, Lee, Nathan, Jarith, Chris, Andrea, Matt, Tyler, Jessica, Chance, Chase, Trevor, Taylor Rain & Rachel; Great –great grandson, Jordan Hagen; many nieces and nephews; Best Friend, Inze Harbaugh of Guttenberg. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Wallace “Bud” Cassutt and great grandson, Timothy Lee Hagen Jr. Agnes Nora Bruckner was born September 6, 1921 in McGregor, Iowa the daughter of Fred & Lillian (Schultz) Bruckner. She married Wallace Cassutt on December 26, 1939. She owned and operated Agnes Tap in Guttenberg, IA for many years, then retired to Essman Island. She will be dearly missed by those who loved her and knew her.
