Obituary for Eleanor L. Obrosk

Eleanor L. Obrosk, 72, of Dysart, Iowa died Friday morning, October 12, 2007 at the Sunnycrest Nursing Home, Dysart, following an extended illness.<br><br>Graveside services and inurnment will take place at a later date at the Dysart Cemetery. The Cremation Society of Eastern Iowa is in charge of arrangements.<br><br>Survivors include her son, Greg and spouse Betty of Chicago, IL; daughter, Gail Brooks of Henderson, NV; sister, Virginia Baker and her husband, Clifford of Dysart, IA.<br><br>She was preceded in death by her parents, former husband, Keith “Pops” Obrosk on May 20, 2007, sisters Wanda and Theone and brother Gordon.<br><br>Eleanor L. Nass was born April 5, 1935 in Dysart, IA the daughter of Theodore & Amanda (Yost) Nass. On September 11, 1955 she married Keith Obrosk.<br><br>Eleanor’s working days were spent cooking Lion’s Club dinners, tending bar, field work and harvesting for Pioneer Seedcorn co., painting and sitting for various pets in Dysart. <br>
