Percy “Pete” Raymond Bugger, 68, died Tuesday November 6, 2007 in his home in Boone, IA. Per his wishes Percy was cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date Survivors include his wife Hannelore, three daughters, Jennifer Pritchard, Bridgett (Sam) Hill of Boone, IA, and Patricia Wittmann of Orlando, FL. Two sons, Gary (Kathy) Bugger and Timothy (Robin) Bugger both of Boone, IA, a brother, Butch Bugger of CO, and two sisters, Nancy Schiefer of Lebanon, IL and Katherine Koonce of Troy, IL. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. His parents, a brother, and one sister precede him in death. Percy was born July 25, 1939 in Granite City, IL to Herman and Dorothy Bugger. He served 21 years with the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Viet Nam conflict. He married Hannelore Cordes on June 6, 1962 in Ramstein, Germany. In July 2006 he retired from Quinn Machinery of Boone after 21 years with them as a machinist.
