We were so sad to hear the Margaret was sick. We were in the hospital after the birth of our daughter - our second child and had asked about Margaret when we were told she was on leave. Our hearts broke when we were told later that she had died. Margaret was our instructor for childbirth classes and she was our nurse for our first son who was born still at 38 weeks. She was so kind and gentle with us and helped us to get through that very painful experience. We know she's up there taking great care of him now.

Chuck , Jeremy and Laura so sorry for your loss. The kitchen table was full of those jam and jellies and country playing on the kitchen radio, when stopped by after we heard the news, we hugged. I will always remember that moment. She was so at home in that kitchen. She was the most patient, loving, unassuming person I think I know. She gave her all and did it very quietly. I was so afraid when you moved to West Branch she would no longer be able our leader for St Wence Free Lunch day, but she continued. We all loved working with her. She will be missed. May God bless you all and ease your sorrow in the days ahead.. God gave us memories so we could have roses in December..

When I need to define "grace", all I ever had to do was think of Margaret. Her kind and gentle ways makes me firmly believe she has to be the most beautiful angel up in Heaven tonight:). Our deepest sympathies to you for your loss on earth, but we rejoice in knowing she is one of God's newest angels, and in a place where she is free from pain & suffering forever. Until we (all) meet again... Tom & Cynthia Gillham Family

Chuck, Jeremy and Laura, We are all so glad to have known Margaret. You could always count on feeling peaceful after a visit with her. Dedicated in her work and to her family, she has done more for this world in 53 years than most would do if given 90 years. God Bless the three of you and the extended family during this unsettling time. Our love and prayers, The Mattaliano Family

Chuck and Jeremy, I worked with Margaret in the Nursery at Centre Community Hospital, State College, PA. I am so sorry to read of her passing. Because of the flooding in your state, I did a search on Margaret's name and was shocked at what I found. I am happy to know that Margaret followed her dream in life. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Margaret's passing. She taught my childbirth education class for my first son, Piers in 2004. I was even so blessed as to have her as my nurse at his birth. How surprised and delighted I was! She was a beautiful soul and will be greatly missed. Her love and compassion were very dear to my husband and me.

On behalf of the people of St. Wenceslaus Church,I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the Ping family. Margaret was a wonderful lady who was always there to help others, esp. in her saintly work with the homeless in the Free Lunch Program. She will always be remembered with love by the parishioners of St. Wenceslaus. May she rest in God's peace. Fr. Mike Phillips, Pastor P.S. I'm sorry I can't be at the funeral but I have the school Thanksgiving Mass at the same time.
