Gene Henry Gray
Dear Cecilia: We are sorry to see that Gene has died. We have many good memories of Gene when he was teaching here in De Soto. I also have many good memories of duck and pheasant hunts we had over the years. We will miss seeing him in Lansing. Jake & Jean Sandry
I am very sad to hear dad passed away.I wish I could have been there and kept in touch over the years. I have many good memories with him from when I was a child. His North Winn. athletes would ask about him frequently over the years. There will never be a better fisherman. My thoughts are with you Ceil during this tough time. I know he will be missed by many.
I was Genes adopted step son from a previous marriage. I grew up with him and learned to hunt and fish from him not to mention the sport of wrestling. I'm sorry to all concerned that only now I have found out. I've been living over seas for more than 22 years now. Gene (Dad) taught me discipline and how to be a man. May he have his peace now that he so rightly deserves. Love, Jerry D. Gray kusuma71@net-zap.com or kusuma71@gmail.com
I have many fond memories of coaching with Gene at DeSoto High School. He was a good coach and friend and will be missed.
Ceil and family - I am so sorry to hear of Gene's death. I remember what a great guy he was, and especially his infectious smile. He was truly a wonderful and thoughtful man; I appreciated his support and encouragement, though stern, when I was in my wayward teenage years. Gene will always have a special place in my heart. I am sorry for your loss - Cheryl
