Obituary for James A. Boos

James A. Boos, Sr., 72, 13 Debbie Ave, Muscatine, IA died Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Unity Health Care in Muscatine following a long illness. Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Surviving in addition to his wife Patricia are four daughters, Debra Boos, Rebecca Boos, Melanie Peterson, and Ellen Boos, all of Muscatine; two sons, Christopher Boos of Muscatine and James Boos II of Troy OH; a brother, Eugene Boos of Springfield, IL; a sister, Marianne Bristol of Superior, WI; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. James was born May 20, 1934 in Fulton, IL the son of Lawrence and Alta (Bouvia) Boos. He married Patricia Arndt on September 7, 1953 in New London, CT. James worked for a grain processor in distillery. He served in the U.S. Navy. James had a zest for life, loved to fish, and he loved his children and his grandchildren.
