Milo J. Herink, 77, of Clutier, IA passed away Thursday, June 14, 2007 at his home. Private inurnment will take place at the Buckingham Cemetery in Traer, IA. Milo is survived by his brother Melvin Herink of Traer, IA and two nieces, Nancy Sorenson of Ankeny, IA, and Wendy Herink-Schilling of Des Moines, IA. Milo was preceded in death by parents Joe and Ella (Hanus) Herink. Milo Herink was born March 5, 1930. He graduated from North Tama High School in 1948. Milo served his country in the United States Army for two years. Milo was a retired lifelong farmer who enjoyed flying, metal working, and amateur radio. He was a member of the American Legion Post Number 142 and the Experimental Aircraft Association. Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice of Waterloo, IA in Milo’s name.
