Virgil Clarence Wadle, 83, of Winterset, IA died Monday August 6, 2007 at the Madison County Hospital in Winterset, IA. Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday August 9, 2007 at the Union Cemetery in Guthrie Center, IA. Virgil was born August 25, 1923 in Lacona, IA, to Henry and Clara (Dittmer) Wadle. He worked several years in sales. He married Betty (Beth) Biggs on May 17, 1976 in Guthrie Center. Survivors include his wife Beth. Nine children from previous marriages; Karen (Shel) McClaury of Aurora, CO, Connie Butters of Ames, IA, Michael (Julie) Wadle of Centennial, CO, Pat Utsler of Loveland, CO, Mark (Maria) Wadle of Peru, IA, Morris Wadle of West Des Moines, IA, Martin Wadle of Indianola, NE, Jolene (Jim) McKenna of Erie, CO, and Tim Wadle of Perry, IA. Also surviving are four brothers; Glen, Donald, Giles, and Darrell Wadle, 23 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Memorial may be directed to Middle River Hospice in Winterset, IA in Virgil''s name. Preceding him in death are his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
