Obituary for Jeffrey L. Bontrager

Jeff L. Bontrager, 47, of Shellsburg, IA died August 9, 2007 at his home after a courageous 3-year battle with cancer. He will be cremated and there will be no service. The Cremation Society of Eastern-Central-Western Iowa is assisting with arrangements. Survivors include his daughter Candy (Tyson) Gosnell; sons Grant Bontrager and Joshua (Amanda) Zahn; parents Dick Bontrager (partner Marti) and Sandra Mason; brothers, Tyrone (Laura) Bontrager, Tim Bontrager, and Don Yerington; sisters, Cathy Eschen and Julie Hook; 6 grandchildren; 4 nieces and 5 nephews; and a very close friend Patti. Memorials may be directed to Mercy Hospice in Cedar Rapids in Jeff’s name.
