Kay Marietta Lundry

Kay Marietta Lundry, 61, died Friday, October 13th after a short illness. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 17th at 10:30a.m. at The First Presbyterian Church in Maynard, IA. The Cremation Society of Eastern-Central-Western Iowa is assisting with the arrangements. Kay was born on March 12, 1945 in Waterloo, the daughter of Ray and Emma (Jefferson) Miller. She grew up in Dunkerton and graduated from Dunkerton High School. Kay married Larry Lundry on December 1st, 1963 at The United Methodist Church in Dunkerton. Kay was a proud farm wife throughout her life. She was a member of The First Presbyterian Church of Maynard, IA, taught Sunday School and served on the church board for multiple years. Kay also belonged to the local diet club in Maynard for many years. She loved to garden and enjoyed watching Iowa Hawkeye Basketball. Kay is survived by her husband Larry, three sons, Joe (Kim) Lundry of Bettendorf, IA, John (Katie) Lundry of Tualatine, OR and Jeffery (Sandy) Lundry of Baldwin City, KS, one daughter Debbie Beard of Columbus, OH, two brothers Donald Miller of Dunkerton, IA and Dick Miller of Greene, IA, one sister Zelma Fink of Fairbank, IA and 6 Grandchildren.
