Obituary for Justin Bradley Strand

Justin Bradley Strand, 57, of 1058 Prairie Dog Avenue, Lorimor, died at the Greater Community Hospital in Creston, Saturday, November 25, 2006, as a result of an accident. Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Survivors include his mother, Jean J. Strand of Branson, MO; three brothers, Randall Strand of Clarinda, Richard (Alberta) Strand of Lakewood, CA, and Rodney Strand of Kenosha, WI; a sister Nancy (William) Hendrickson of Hollister, MO; many nieces and nephews; and dear friends John and Tammy Clark. He loved and was loved by all. Justin was preceded in death by his father, Howard Strand. Justin was born January 7, 1949 in Fort Dodge to Howard and Jean Johnson Strand. He grew up in the Humbolt, West Liberty, Lamoni area. Following graduation he entered the United States Army serving in Vietnam. He later became a member of the Army Reserves for many years. He was a welder and machinist. Memorials may be directed to the Disabled American Veterans or the Humane Society.
