Obituary for Jack Arthur Bevauns

Jack A. Bevauns, 63, of Lisbon, Iowa died Sunday, March 12, 2006 at his home after his battle with stomach cancer. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with Father Bill Pugliese and Rev. Barbara Schlachter officiating. Jack Arthur Bevauns was born August 18, 1942 to Jacques and Bernadine (Cate) Bevauns in Cedar Rapids, IA. He married Barbara Hesselberg on January 1, 2000 in Cedar Rapids. Jack attended Marion High School. Jack was employed with Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) of Cedar Rapids, IA in the fructose department for 29 years before his retirement in August of 2004. Survivors include his wife Barbara Bevauns of Lisbon, IA; son Jeff Bevauns of Cedar Rapids, IA; and one sister Ann (Glenn) Pike of Cedar Rapids, IA. Jack was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Rapids Christ Episcopal Church in Jack’s name.
