S. Lynn Brookes

Lynn was one of the best people I have ever had in my life. A solid friend who lived hard and fast but had little complaint. I'll miss all the fun we've had but remember it always. Moreso than most cuz of her dog Pugsly, he fathered pups and the legacy lives on by two new litters totalling 15. Thanks for letting me know your still hanging around Lynn. I think of you all the time and miss you and those big blue peepers and that trademark sound "hootie hoo". I just don't think it got much more solid than you. I miss ya alot girlfriend. Until we meet again.......... Kel'

Lynn was a wonderful Person. Some didn't agree with how she lived her life. Some didn't see the pain, that grew everyday, that she bared. She missed her kids more and more everyday. She wanted to see them, hug them, hold them... I wish that Dreams could have come true for her. Even still, she would get up everyday and find a way to enjoy life. Not only did she do it with---SMILE on her face. But would find a way to put a smile on mine too. I miss my friend and there will always be a place in my heart for her. Special Thanks to whoever came into our house, took Lynn's things & mine.

I met Lynn several times over the past ten years. One thing I can always say is that she made me laugh, usually at myself. She called a spade a spade. She was the sister of my best friend. I know how much she is going to be missed. So, if you knew Lynn, then remember her and share your memories with your family and friends, and let her live through your memories. I hope her family and friends will take great comfort in knowing she will never be forgotten. Ever since her sister (Lisa) told me of the accident I have worn my seat belt. I have never worn it on a regular basis before but never go without it now. So Lynn, Thank You and we will see you on the otherside. Peace.

I didn't know Lynn unlike many of the people who have visited this guestbook. I actually met her the day she passed. As hard as it was for me I cannot imagine the pain every single one of her friends and family members is going through. There is not a day that passes since her death that I have not thought about her. I want to tell the family that I am sorry you are going through this loss. I will forever have a memory of her in my heart and the lesson I learned from her death.

I, Rose Heller (Marnin) of Milo, Iowa send my condolences. I just heard about Lynn's death yesterday. I was very sorry to hear this news especially when it involves someone so young. I asked my daughter to add this note to the website as I do not have a computer and there was no other contact information mentioned in the obituary.

Lynn's Family, I was a classmate of Lynn's at Meredith Junior High. I was very saddened to learn of her passing. She was one of the people that stuck in my mind from 7th grade because of her ability to relate to so many different types of people. She was a terrific teenager who most certainly grew into a wonderful mother. Your memorial regarding her sunshine and smiles are certainly part of my memories of Lynn from the late 1970's. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
